Message: Lithium Americas CEO Interview at the BMO conference

On March 17th, 2021 I first suspected that there was a three way connection between LAC, EFL and Toyota.  Toyota has announced 1.3B$ towards the construction of 3 battery plants for their automotive electrification program.  Who's battery will they be using???  It is a big secret!  They have not said.  Now why would that not just announce the battery?  Maybe it does not exist yet. (not announced Yet)

Electrovaya keeps talking US/NA supply chain for Lithium batteries.  See what John Evans CEO of LAC testifing before congress said.

"Jonathan Evans, President and CEO of Lithium Americas, stated during a Senate testimony that he expects the output of Thacker Pass to “produce enough domestically sourced lithium chemicals to encourage the development of large-scale cathode, battery and end-user manufacturing in the U.S.” With China responsible for two thirds of the world’s cathode supply, the US producing less than one percent, a rise in domestic cathode production is imperative and Thacker Pass could aid in this change. This is an advantage that hasn’t gone unnoticed by Washington.

Take a look in Electrovaya's latest Presentation, I think page 17 where they state they now can manufacturer cathodes that work for the NMC cell and the solid state cell.

Also stated in the presentation that they increased the energy density of their NMC cell recently.  My guess is they put in their new cathode.  Switching to the new cathode may have put a kink in the supply line for a bit???
