Ottowa City Council Approves Electric Bus Purchase Plan

The City will enter into a loan agreement with the Canada Infrastructure Bank and will seek funding from Infrastructure Canada to gradually convert the bus fleet. If funding is approved Ottowa will purchase 74 electric buses in 2022 (to be on the streets by 2023) and 450 buses by 2027. Will Electrovaya batteries power any of these buses?

The future, while distant, still has potential for brightness.
