I don't see where you see electrovaya getting Li-tec or any of it's patents. The press release just stated they were going to obtain the assets of the plant, I am pretty sure if they were actually buying Li-tec the company or any of its products that would have been included in the release. Daimler is not producing battery cells any more, they are producing battery packs for EV's and grid storage. If this deal goes through then electrovaya will be supplying the cells for at least the smart cars, maybe more if all goes well. Something big must be going on because they raised 3 million in june for plant equipment and expanding manufacturing capacity and now they are about to greatly expand production in Europe. They wouldn't be doing this unless they got some big contracts.
