Daimler in 2008 launched Li-Tec as a joint venture with Evonik, though Daimler recently put plans together to buy out Evonik's 50-percent share of Li-Tec, Bloomberg reported
And so they did this in April 2014:

I don't think that Electrovaya's not to far off from having an impact on Tesla through Daimler.
Looks like to me Electrovaya has and deal going with Daimler, which was apart of the Plant buying....Electrovaya would be able to buy and run the PLANT with the understanding that they would sell the battery electrodes and seperators to Daimler for a low cost...just to make business and kinda bail out Daimler from money problems.
But then Electrovaya will be able to supply batteries from the plant on their own (which would take a year or two)....but with the agreement to supply Daimler first (30 million a year). Then comes Tesla, now Daimler will have to share the Non-Toxic Manufacturing Process with Tesla since they are in bed with each other.
Nice.... $$$$
What do you guys think???
