Somewhere I believe I heard that Nissan was not going to produce any of the Leaf model in the US in 2015 year model?

If that is so, then the battery plant is or about to be idle!

The Chinese version of the Leaf "Venusia E30" is in a Batch production of 250 Demonstrators. ( I read test fleet ). Continuous production will occur about the end of Qtr 1 or first part of Qtr 2. LG Chem and Electrovaya were in competition for that battery pack. If Electrovaya got it, then the battery pack must be on the production line in Missuauga.

Someone must know someone that works there and be able to confirm if that is the case??

Or -- that $3mm production equipment is in Tennessee producing the 250 battery packs for the Venusia E30. Lots of interesting senarios. Makes me think of that article "Who will win the battery the holy grail of energy storage and EV batteries"?
