That's what I think is happening, I believe Electrovaya will license their technology to nissan. If you look at nissan's position they have the plant in tennessee, a plant in england and a large plant in Japan. They received large government grants to build them. They have stated that they want to keep battery production in house but the cost is too high, that's where electrovaya comes in. Nissan said they were targeting $200 per kwh whether they make them or buy them. If electrovaya can produce them for less than $150 per kwh that leaves plenty of room for licensing fees. This allows them to keep the plants, if they close those plants they will have to pay back the government and they will lose all the jobs and they take a huge write-down on the plants. This also allows them to combine their technology with electrovaya's. I think this will also include Dongfeng and Renault. The bottom line is this group is either going with LG Chem or Electrovaya, I think it will be a licensing deal with electrovaya.
