Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Some say below five bucks = penny. Some true penny plays, lowest to highest current SP.
GNGR - In Pinks. Not a shell. Chocolate and fudge supplier play. SP right at about a penny. Not an SEC filer, but a voluntary OTC filer and recently had very good quarterly numbers, especially for a pink sheet. Has Betty Boop and Wonka trademark use rights. Appears to be a real company with product available at some 7-11 stores.
CDFT - In OTCQB. Credit card system play. SP about a penny and a half. SEC filer. Makes money by getting a small cut of each transaction. Appears to be a real company and not a shell. Looks to be starting a run up, so may be a good short term or swing trade.
DROP - In OTCQB. A "muscle rub" play. Currently about twenty cents. SEC filer. Makes "Enerjel," wich is similar but different than Bengay. Also, "Drops" with a purported patented delivery system. Tiger Woods and numerous other athletes are sponsors, and believed to be paid in company shares. Recent run up from about fifteen cents because the company signed on "shark" entrepreneur Daymond John to promote company products. Recent past shows run to a buck then back down to pennies. Real company with a real product at GNC and soon to be at Dick's Sporting Goods. Once dilution is done, it should see decent upside. There is an Agoracom message board here.
JBII - In OTCQB. Recycle plastic to oil play. SEC filer. Currently about eighty-five cents. Recent run up to the dollar level by avoiding SEC troubles, and now into profit taking that appears to be overshooting to the downside. Currently at about the 50DayMA and appears to be holding, so could be a decent entry, but suggest a tight stop. Next support around sixty cents if 50dayMA fails. Supply of raw material plastic may be a problem. Real company with a real product.
I do not hold any shares of any of the above at this time, but am watching and considering. There are a lot of additional possible plays out there that might be good, in a sea of scam and shell companies trying to only sell shares to keep the doors open. Please perform personal DD and verify everything, because that is what good investing is all about. Not sure I can answer questions on the above, but will try.
For personal due diligence, a good start on the web would be to look through the company web site, especially the "investor relations" portion, and compare it to actual SEC filings. PR's should always be considered a rumor until it is SEC filed with the necessary and appropriate additional details. Suggest using stops on above penny plays.
Hope everyone's weekend was a good one.
