Venezuela's last appeal becomes political and now is applying the "sympathy card" as a last resort. Does the USA really want to kick a dog that is already down and create misery to millions of innocent civilians? Can the US accept a legacy such as that?
I'm sure Stark will not be deterred in his quest to end this, by the machinations of Venezuela, but the final word is the signature we need from the Treasury as I have said all along. That's the political part. Stark will go on with his mandate as schduled and on time but the political part is out of his scope and authority.
If the US want to play this game then they should be prepared to pay Venezuela's bills. A delay for the auction until the Venezuela' election will only extend any payout another year especially if the opposition wins.
End this now.
RML is sinking.
