One of the problems with VZ settling, besides the obvious, is who are they going to pay and how much?  If VZ is volunarily settling, they should have to pay ALL the creditors. All $22B. Not just the ones they want to or are able to.  Nor should the court decide. Every creditor should be made whole.

If it comes down to an auction, that's different.  Those in front of the line should get what they get until the money runs out.
