Those companies you mention that would get full payment if this goes the distance are not in a good position if VZ simply settles with KRY. They would have to start the process all over again unless they had reached step 7 and got attached to our suit.

If I owned shares in the other companies I would want them to reach an agreement with VZ rather than going back to court to get the alter ego proven again.

I really don't think you fully understand the implications when you talk about 20 billion VZ would owe vs paying Crystallex 2 billion to settle. Not much of a choice is it?
