If this case settles as I hope sometime in 2083 (or beyond) and my great grandchildren are owed some money, my estate and all of yours, will be required to put in a claim to the settlement administrator and provide paperwork from our brokerage statements or CUSIP number documentation. There will then be another few years wait while the claims are verified. Checks (or cheques) will then be issued in the name of the shareholder.  As a shareholder who is really at the back of the line like all of you reading this, I hold out little hope that this will actually happen, but it makes for a nice daydream like buying a Megamillions ticket.
