I truly think this was a situation where Vz's own party arbitrator could be read by Vz's attorneys as saying he was going against his party. This does happen and it happens most where the party arbitrator is very well know, is very honorble, and is very reputable and does not want his credibility sullied by supporting the position of a party against whom the evidence was overwhelming. In other words, an arbitrator who doesn't give a damn whether Vz or the Vzs of the world will select him in the future or not. Thus, the facts here were very possibly overwhelming aganst Vz as well as the extent of damages.
