Message: VZ's share

I think if the original MOC gave VZ roughly 45% ( can't remember all that's involved), it wouldn't be that big a deal if we Chavez insisted on a 51/49 split. Remember that usually, a JV means expenses are split along the same lines. Right now, VZ pays nothing for development.

So I think we would have to find out what any other JV's do in that regard. Rusoro? Venrus?

The other thing to keep in mind about any thoughts re VZ partnering with anyone other than CRRC in LC, is that there is, as someone pointed out, no one else who has the dollars to put into the development of a mine, in a timely fashion.

Simply put, there would be absolutely no way a mine at LC could be built by anyone, that would take less than twice as long as what the CRRC JV would do. That would be a 3 year minimum timetable. Because of the whole permitting process, as well as the needed $$ investment, it would be a miracle if anyone else could even begin to build within the next 18-24 months.

No matter how unbalanced Chavez is, it would be crazy even for him, to change course from a deal with CRRC/PRC.

I can't make any sense of the comments made by Chavez, V-Headline, or VZ press, but I can't see it being anything more than purposeful disinformation, possibly for someones financial gain.

Once again, we wait and see, hoping that we are near a real end, and a real new beginning.
