Duh! That's a no-brainer. As others have stated....the sh!t was going to hit the fan at last June's AGM. It was a do or die situation. KRY\China probably jerked off for months until KRY ran out of time and took what they could get (hence the missed deadlines...they were winging it and threw the deadlines against the wall to buy time). Yup...China needs us to develop other mines in the area. Sure they do.

i have a good reason for you to call RM..when this whole JV thing started did fung approach the chinese? or did the chinese approach fung? i'd like to know....as far as reasons for hugo or the chinese to drag this out well, desperation on kry's part is one reason i can think of...although i'm not sure how much cheaper they could get LC at this point. did fung start off by offering two thirds or did that happen after a year of screwing around?

i believe this will end in a higher PPS (probably thru buyout). it would be great if they actually pulled off a JV and got both LC/LB.........

but i do have nightmares of china/hugo pushing kry into BK while fung, RM and EZ ride off into the sunset.....and then kiss eachother....
