You are correct. They say VZ viewed it very favorably. I suppose it is possible that China asked and Hugo said no way I don't want you as a partner on LC and CREC/CRRC decided he was only kidding so pursued Kry and LC anyway.

Those Chinese sure have a great sense of humor!
