The national government spends more than one billion dollars in the construction of several aqueducts in the country, the head of the Ministry of Popular Power for the Environment (Minamb), Alejandro Hitcher, during a visit to the state of Bolivar.

In a press release issued by that office, Hitcher said that among the flags of the Bolivarian Government projects include the Great Aqueduct Bolivarian Falcon, also known as the Colossus of Falcon, and the project Winka running in the city of Maracaibo and others who give immediate answers to hundreds of families.

According to the official, the aqueduct of Falcon will be inaugurated in mid-October, as the work develops in the time stated. "This project will solve the problem of water shortages and live Falcon Coro and Punto Fijo for over 30 years," he said.

Hitcher recalled that the pipeline will be 182 kilometers long and will be the largest in Venezuela, with a total flow of 2 000 500 liters per second. He recalled that the project is developed through bilateral agreements between Venezuela and Iran.
