I wonder why this date has changed and why Sept 10 is so significant?

Perhaps this is the deadline given to Venezuela to confirm permit approval and acceptable currency exchange terms for the proposed JV (you know....those pesky little details that were already agreed to months ago by Venezuela). After this date the deal is off and we pursue arbitration. Neither China nor KRY has time to waste chasing Hugo's empty promises.

The next parliamentary election in Venezuela will take place on 26 September 2010[1] to elect the 167 deputies to the National Assembly.
