Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
I don't consider myself an ultra pumper but a positive poster. I've been a share holder for over 5 years now. Not as long as many but long enough to feel the pain this stock has caused. I've been here for the shortly after Easter fiasco by Thompson. That was the end of positive news and time lines from Kry and management until now.
I respect your TA and the fact you trade accordingly. It doesn't matter to me if people us TA, sell on news, astrology or a ouija board to decide when to buy and sell. I have always invested based on research and faith in management.
Buying Kry has tested my belief in both but even through all the bad news I have believed Robert Fung to be an honest and honorable man. My faith in his abilities as far as I'm concerned has been proven true with this deal.
The easy route would have been to give up and file for arbitration. Maybe when all is said and done filing for arbitration might have returned the same as mining. Nobody knows for sure till we look back years from now.
Here is what I know for sure. A month ago Kry was running out of money and the permit was no closer to being issued to us than it was 2 years ago. Everyone here was demanding news of what was happening and how would we survive.
On June 7th Kry announces a binding agreement to form a partnership with CRRC for 2/3rds of LC. I'm pissed because we just lost 2/3rds of our only asset. It took me the better part of the day to read the agreement over and research CREC and CRRC. I decided that having a 1/3rd stake in what I believe (after updates and more drilling) will be 30 million ounces of gold is a hell of a lot better than owning 100% of a contract that will be decided by the courts once arbitration is filed.
I wasn't happy about an extra 70 million shares being issued at .50 but in the end the money was needed and we weren't in a great bargaining position. Like my earlier post I have changed the way I'm thinking of this deal now. Without the Chinese, we were dead and our shares we worth nothing. Now we have life.
Since all this IMHO positive news I have read a lot of posts about how bad this deal is. I have read about the gold sale law, whether VZ would actually issue the permit to the new JV and the reasons for the lack of share price movement.
IMHO anybody who doesn't think we are in a much better position today over 1 month ago has no idea what this deal is about. When I read things here like what if VZ and China are doing a back door deal not in Kry shareholders best interest or China can afford to mine LC at a loss I see somebody being negative for no other reason than to be negative. It is something we can't prove or disprove so wasting time time on what if this bad thing happens is useless without some basis of fact.
I could just as easily say what if we go through all the work to build a mine and China decides to invade VZ for its oil and gold and kick us out. That sounds like one of Hugo's the Americans are coming threats.
At at the point of wondering why some people are even invested in Kry. If you really believe the doom and gloom scenarios then sell or trade any price movement.
I'm starting to ramble here so I will stop with this thought.
Kry and CRRC will get this deal done. The permit will be issued. The mine will be built. Some people will sell on permit news and make money. Some like me will sell some on permit news because we need some cash but will hold the rest until such time as I feel I'm getting a fair price for my shares. That price will also be dictated by the market like they are today.
