Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
How do you come up with that Portx10?
Here are the facts:
17M ounces
1/3 is KRY's or 5.67M ounces
5.67M ounces x $900/per ounce in profit after mining costs = $5.1B
$5.1B x 60% (after 40% taxes and royalties) = $3.1B
$3.1B / 500M o/s shares = $6.20 / share
$6.20 x 80% (20% VZ discount) = $4.96
I think this is a reasonable calculation although there are still some unknowns such as actual dilution. This also doesn't take in to account debt repayment to CRRC at 6.5% and other admin costs. After all that I would think $4 would be a reasonable expectation based on the facts that we know today. None of this gold at $2,500 per ounce and 30M ounces, etc. When new resource estimates come out, then we can start doing some other math. Hyping is as bad as bashing and just as harmful.
