Jose Khan stood out that the proposals to surpass the adversities must leave the tables of work of Socialist the Guayana Plan and the companies.

Each company presented/displayed an executive summary of its present situation in the scopes financial, commercial, operative and labor. The objective, according to explained Khan, is to realise a general diagnosis of the productive chains to consolidate a report that will be sent to president Hugo Chavez in next days.

“The proposals to resolve the adverse realities must arise from the consensus, of integration between the work tables and the boards of directors, with total clarity of their commitment within Socialist the Guayana Plan”, emphasized Khan.

First in setting out his report of management they were the industries of the sector iron and steel. Ferrominera Orinoco, Sidor, Orinoco Iron and Comsigua, among others, gave beginning to the meeting, followed of Bauxilum, Carbonorca, Alcasa and the rest of the factories of the sector aluminum.

Between the negative aspects that more affected the national iron and steel chain during years 2008 and 2009, the representatives of these companies agreed in three factors: world-wide the financial crisis, the fall of the prices in some of its main manufactured products and the closing of great buyers.

Besides these problems, derivatives of international the economic situation, another one of the points appellants were the presence of tercerizados more that still toil in all the companies, in major or measured minor.

The Corporation of Gold
Besides the corporations already announced by president Chávez, minister Khan retook the idea to create a Corporation of the Gold that would group to all the actors involved in the extraction, refinement and artisan transformation of this mineral.

It affirmed that the Central bank of Venezuela (BCV) already has programmed a policy of commercialization of the gold that is going to favor the increase of the international reserves. For this reason, the BCV is going to establish a sub-office in the state Bolivar where they are going to work two fundamental institutions: the Institute of Jewellery and the Institute of Certification of Gold, this last one will be the one in charge to give guarantee of the gold mineral produced within the country.
