President Hugo Chavez announced east Monday that Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (Pdvsa) will cancel to their suppliers debts by about 4,651 million dollars in the fourth trimester like part of a plan to stimulate the economy and to obtain that the country slightly culminates the year with a growth “over zero”.

Chávez said in an encounter with its ministers, whom the state television transmitter spread, that decided that Pdvsa has “10,000 million strong bolivars”, that are equivalent to about 4,651 million dollars for “cancelling to its suppliers”.

The agent chief executive expressed that state the oil one will realise the payments in the “fourth trimester” like part of a plan to stimulate the productive apparatus that a fall of 2.4% in the second trimester of the year had, after five years of continuous growth, dragged by world-wide the financial crisis and the low prices of petroleum.
