I think we are getting carried away here. The loan was stated as being for debts in the oil industry.

That said, what I find encouraging is it places and importance on gold since it would be collateral for a two year note. Previous statements from KRY indicated it would take approximately two years to build a mine and begin producing. This being the case, VZ would have to move quickly to get the mine going either through a permit for KRY (unlikely) or someone else. We all know that someone else is the Russians but Isuspect they told the VP this week that VZ needed to clean up the legal issues 1st.

This is just my opinion and I doubt these funds are for the settlement but rather a demonstration that a settlement IS needed and soon.
