Chavez said that while the global crisis is spreading like cancer throughout the world, "also represents the best opportunity for Iran and Venezuela made their economies prosper and develop their countries.

The two leaders have a plan to create a development bank with an initial capital of 200 million dollars, which could increase to 1,600 million.

Both also agree in their attitude of confrontation against Washington and demand the establishment of a new world order and a reform of the Security Council of UN.

In several meetings over the past three years and a half, Ahmadinejad and Chavez signed 186 agreements. It is estimated that bilateral trade amounted to 4,600 million dollars.

Mineral potential

In fact Iran and Venezuela are developing a joint Iranian-Venezuelan mining, which Chavez referred.

"If you knew the amount of mineral resources that we have been discovering in recent years to fall back: gold, diamonds, precious stones. We are talking about a joint Iranian-Venezuelan mining," he stressed.

Ahmadinejad hoped that the visit of the Latin American leader to prepare "a ten-year plan" and other bilateral plan to combat global crisis. "
