The two presidents stressed their economic outlook, focusing on development, in which Chávez believed that the two countries should "strengthen their cooperation in trade away from world trade."
The presidents Hugo Chávez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Tehran agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation to address the economic crisis, as reported after the first round of talks between the two presidents.
"Relations between Iran and Venezuela opened a new revolutionary united front which will serve not only the interests of both countries, but also will become a model for promoting peace and fraternity in the world," Ahmadinejad appreciated
The Iranian said that there will be no obstacles to the deepening of bilateral ties, due to Tehran and Caracas to maintain the same position on several international issues and continue side by side until the final victory is achieved. "
