“The management of Rodolfo Sanz leaves much to be desired and that forces to raise the intervention of the CVG and the Mibam (Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining) and the designation of a new equipment that, along with the social workers and organizations, democratises the handling of the basic companies”.

This request comes from Jose Gregorio Beria, leader of the Socialist Party United of Venezuela (Psuv) and member of the Commission by the Truth, in company of Crowned Miguel, parochial leader, and Julia Fermín.

The position east group of those in favor of the national Government conjugates with the numerous denunciations of competing parties that have criticized the management of minister Sanz during the last year, which consider that she has not been effective, but responds to moved away interests of the well-being of the industry of Guayana.

For Beria, the corporation is handling with arrogance and partisan clientelism, because it related to CVG president to the organization Patria For All, has taken which it to include in its work party people who are not of the region nor have knowledge some of the companies.

The city must take care of its interests in the companies then of these depends a good part on the country, maintained Beria, that mentioned some reasons for which the government must put hard hand to the holder of CVG and Mibam to him.

First of them it is the failure of the mining reconversion, which was a proposal sent like policy of State and that was not known to apply, soon it is the abandonment of the projects of extension of Alcasa and Venalum with the construction of the V and I SAW line of production respectively and, finally, the paralyzation of the social programs in the matter of house, because this plan of CVG is contaminated of bureaucracy, slowness, laziness and corruption.

With the presence of Sanz to the front of the corporation, the objectives of the projects have not been reviewed either that this has and their bonds with the workers and their relatives.

In the particular case of Sidor, although the leaders declared to be in agreement with the nationalization of the company, nevertheless the subject of the tercerizados ones has dealt themselves with demagoguery, because the capacity did not study that had the iron and steel to absorb 6 thousand workers.

Beria indicated like unjustifiable the permanence of Sanz to the front of the Mibam and of CVG, when the majority of the unions and the population has been pronounced against its management. It insisted on which “we will not allow the atornillamiento of inept people in strategic positions”, for that reason requested his exit and an audit immediate to the corporation and the ministry.
