President Aluminios of the Caroní, Caesar Aguilar, recognized that in the company an economic one and of production exists deep problematic and noticed that its recovery is feasible, when defending itself than he described an offensive in his against and of the executive train, orchestrated by a led political-union sector.

The president of CVG Alcasa, To stop Aguilar, indicated that he exists an offensive in his against and the one of the executive train of the company, orchestrated by a political-union sector led by Jose Gil, question that described as lamentable inasmuch as in Alcasa an economic one and of production exists deep problematic that does not let space to respond “unfounded attacks”. According to the executive, some union leaders have described it as “choro” and “stranger”.

Similarly, Aguilar said that he is perfectly feasible the recovery of CVG Alcasa and the other companies of aluminum, “all the company are recoverable, for it is a plan and, the will of all is necessary”, affirmed, besides speaking on the operative advances and how it has faced the diverse obstacles arisen from the crisis of the companies of that sector.

Accompanied by the operative and administrative managers of reducing the state one and the president of CVG Carbonorca, Juan Jose Méndez, Aguilar it made emphasis in his disposition to the dialogue with all the factors that make life in CVG Alcasa, to look for the solutions the problems that the sector crosses aluminum.

In such sense, it said that “we do not know the union leadership, on the contrary, when we arrived in February of 2008 next to minister of the Popular Power for the Basic Industries and Minería, Rodolfo Sanz, first that we did went to take care of the union leadership respect yet, and it has been continued doing”.

Talking about to the accusations of “choro” on the part of union leaders, Aguilar assured that these conflicts entail to that “they lose of view the complex reality of the sector aluminum” and that probably they obey to the refusal on the part of the company to grant a managemental position to him to Jose Gil, who according to Aguilar would have said very textually: “when it is that I am going to begin to sign checks”.

On the other hand, it showed that the present managemental train “is revolutionary, probo and of free removal, they are offices of trust. In addition, the figure of the coadministration does not exist”.

Also, it expressed that the position of president of CVG Alcasa only can be assigned by the minister of the Mibam, Rodolfo Sanz, or the president of the Bolivariana Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.

It also emphasized, that he will be the holder of Basic Industries and Mining, that in the next days will realise the announcements on the investments that will be carried out in the sector aluminum, as well as in the rest of the Basic Companies.

Nevertheless, Aguilar advanced that millardo of dollars is required to realise the necessary adjustments in CVG Alcasa.

“The solutions define the high government but they will be agreed with the workers, unions and involved others”, limited the president of the pioneer of the aluminum, that added that the operativity of the companies of the sector also must to those who have been affected by the crisis and, even so they continue providing its services, like the clinics, the food suppliers and raw material, among others.

If profits exist

Aguilar took advantage of the occasion, to make a count of the facts considered profits during its management. So it is the case of the maintenance of the Silo 15 thousands, that did not take place seven years ago; the acquisition of a hydraulic hammer that in spite of being valued “only” in 45 thousand dollars, was one of the main deficiencies of the company; the recovery of the warehouses of the company, eliminating themselves the double storage and generating important savings; the execution of the plan Order and Cleaning; the acquisition of two induction furnaces and, the management of the purchase of the equipment of the compressed air system, which it is being realised at the moment.

On the present operative situation, the manager of Reduction of CVG Alcasa, Lincar Fermín, indicated that 75% of the plant are operative. In such sense, a plan of incorporation of cells, because to date 164 of them they are stopped, for which is being realised requires the support of all the workers, who must realise the plan in the diurnal turns, in order not to generate more expenses by works in turns nocturnes.

On the other hand, the manager of Smelting, Alexi Martinez, said that she has managed herself to diminish the scrap iron index that was located in 12% to 2y 8%.

Also, president Aguilar indicated that 73 million bolivars for precise repairs in the operating systems are required, like “the improvement of the compressed air network, of the cranes and rigging. Esteem that everything is ready in the last quarterly of the year, whenever we count on the resources”.

Aguilar also explained, that is being realised tests in CVG Carbonorca of coke calcination, in order to replace this imported product, indispensable in the manufacture of anodes used in the aluminum production.

In addition, the enterprise leader explained that problematic existing in Alcasa and the other companies of aluminum he is structural and comes dice by the form as they were conformed, “like is possible that in Alcasa machineries with 60 years of use exist since they were acquired of second hand”, and on the other hand indicated that some aluminic branchs as Alucasa of Valencia and Alunasa with soothes in Costa Rica have cancelled debts with the reducing power station, reason why are not their fault or the one of the managemental train that the company is in crisis.

Jose Value, manager of Planning and Control of the Production, said that it is fundamental “to harness the industry down waters, to contribute added value to aluminum, because this way we will not depend on the fluctuation of the LME (international price of aluminum)”.

On the matter, the president of CVG Alcasa invited the Venezuelans to invest in the transforming industry of the aluminum, in which they are being successful foreign Venezuelan ground investors.

Debts

To stop Aguilar, did not deny the existence of internal and external debts on the part of the company CVG Alcasa, on the contrary it recognized problematic happiness, “we know the great debt that we maintain with the suppliers, also that we have not paid policy HCM, but are working in that and to our workers never we will stop cancelling its wage to them and to look for its improvement as far as possible”, indicated. Similarly it indicated that Minister of Basic Industries and Minings Rodolfo Sanz has tended them the hand in repeated occasions and surely will continue doing it, “if in order month we do not have to pay, the CVG and the Mibam will help as in fact they have done already it, that us is safe”, finalized.
