How about our mining equipment if it were moved into VZ?

I've often thought that IF I was Hugo and wished to gain maximum for myself and VZ out of this Kry/permit soap opera, I'd wait until KRY moved the equipment into VZ before I notified KRY that I was giving their rights to some newfound Russian friends. That way I could also confiscate their expensive equipment and my Russian friends could use it. Its this just too sneaky? oh har, har. As this hasn't happened, I've decided its because of one of two probable reasons:

1) he never intended to do this and its a non-issue.

2) he did intend to reap home to himself AMAP, but world financial circumstances short-circuited his power before he could set the stage appropriately. Now VZ elections loom and its obvious this financial crisis will likely be long-term, so he has yet to make public his decision on LC operator and our KRY permit. There is no good reason imaginable why the lack of issuing our permit has taken this long, except Hugo wished to hold it up per his own favoritism reasons which simply HAD to be not exactly as we were expecting, or it wouldn't have been delayed as it has been.

So...if 2) proves to be the reason, I wish KRY could develop some measure to insure valuation safety of the equipment if we do get our permit and it is moved into VZ. It seems a good subject for the KRY meeting that discussions cld begin (in earnest) with the Canadian and US governments about techniques, methods, requirements, etc. to freeze VZ assets IF they did start screwing with our equipment.

AS a company and as shareholders we've already lost a simply huge amount of valuation that is money. Our money! Largely because of VZ's lack of being trustworthy & not performing. I've appreciated the lessons I've learned in here from others about the "manana" and not connected, disorganized ways of the arms of the VZ govt. And I agree with the idea to not antagonize them until the die is set. But...KRY is a Canadian company, and a lot of shareholders are American and each of us care about getting shafted by VZ if that were to wind up happening. Suing them is one alternative but I'm more in favor of the asset freeze. Why go for a bird in the bush when one is in the hand? I see nothing wrong with KRY being proactive with our own nations to help protect ourselves in the event of more VZ control issues that could harm us. Its not exactly like they've proven themselves trustworthy in any kind of reasonable timeline. They have again and again stretched reasonableness and we all know we have to just sit and wait. But once its decided, and if it is negative to us, I would hope we already have government officials in the sidelines ready to assist us in drawing our pound of flesh. (tnx Shakespeare, its a good saying!) :)

The entire idea that if we were to get a notice of our permit being granted begs the question of do we then move all that expensive equipment into the lion's den with no extra-special qualifiers for its safety, value protection? We just assume its safe because we can sue if its not? I'd feel better if there was some poison pill involved to move lawsuit into collected judgement. You know: like if anything happens to our equipment, your left leg disappears. And you can guess who I am talking to.

:)
