According to unofficial versions and of some workers of the being, approximately to the 2:00 of the dawn the cellar began to catch fire where they remain filed statistical documents, real estate, of urbanisms, finances and of administration.

The flames propagated in a matter of minutes and thanks to the effective answer of the Firemen of Caroní, the fire was extinguished in few minutes. The bomberiles cash realised one first experticia and collected some samples to determine if the fire were accelerated by some substance. The results have not been revealed.

The Public Ministry comisionó to the Office of the public prosecutor Second of Ordaz Port to head the inquiries and on the Disip fell the responsibility to look for tracks and to do other experticias the morning of Monday, in order to discard that there are people behind the incident.

Unofficial sources and ligatures closely to the investigations explained that although the flames did not consume the totality of the archives, the action of the used water to choke also inflicted them casualties of the most important documents within the holding company.

The totality of the building was closed during the morning of Monday, while they were realised inspection and the zone cooled off where it happened the fire.

Until afternoon of this Monday, great part of the building, where they work more than 500 people, continued closed partially and surrounded by orders of the Office of the public prosecutor, because they hope that effective of the Body of Scientific researches, Penal and Criminologies, from the capital region, they arrive at the scene of the event to realise another tracking of evidences during the morning of today.

The presumptions
Although until this moment there are suspects nor no prisoners, people ligatures to the preliminary inquiries commented that within the documents that were turned into ashes, they are the related ones to the finances of 2006 and 2007.

Although there has been no an official version of the event, personnel related to the CVG informed that the past week minister of Basic Industries and Minería, Rodolfo Sanz, ordered that him “an eye lay down” and an audit to the finances was made coincidencialmente of the organism during that newspaper and, these were destroyed.

The equipment of Mail of the Caroní looked for the official version of the organism and, from the Management of Information, they only explained that until afternoon of Monday they were also realised inspection by the personal intern of security and by members of the police bodies.

Juan Go'mez, Secretary General of the National Union of Employees of the CVG, explained that until afternoon of this Monday, many employees did not know to detail the material that was damaged in the fire, although explained that almost everything is vitally important within the being.

It assured that the building, where they work more than 500 people, is not prepared for this type of incidents, because it lacks a system against fires and alarms.
