Workers and miners with the highest rates of unemployment

This result represented the level under unemployment more than it was registered in that period and, in fact, it was placed 3.5 percentage points below the national general average just by 66,261 people who did not manage to find a job.

The managers, administrators and directors obtained the second lower rate of leisure in the first semester. According to the NSI, this grouping he showed a 4.6% unemployment that affected 19,706 people.

Other occupations that showed results below the national average of unemployment were the employees of office, salesmen, agriculturists, conductors and workers of the services.

Less they look for the first time
In the report of the NSI the diminution of the number of people arises like peculiar data who look for use for the first time. In the last year, according to the official numbers, was reduced in 8% that try to be inserted in the labor market. In the first semester of this year 79,760 people added, but a year ago they were 88,652 people, according to the numbers that the governmental organism presented/displayed.

The president of the NSI, Elías Eljuri, indicated that the reason of this loss in the number of those who looks for use for the first time is that this group of people is made up of young people, whom they prefer to dedicate itself to the studies instead of to find a job.

Observing the historical numbers, from the first semester of 2004 to equal period of this east year group he was reduced half, according to the official data.
