If the "permit" was a hot tropical outcome of the the rally the wire services would be burning up media space. So, hate to be negative, but another weekend with great expectations fades into the sunset.

There is a Political Agenda at work on this one and is very difficult to for-see into what direction the Chavez government is heading, the long term objective seem to be very clear. The short term objectives are much harder to comprehend.

There appears to be no set understanding amongst those individuals running the government, every major dissision seems to played out on a day to day process. The use of time in Venezuela is part of the built in attitude in doing business, things seem to take positive steps forward then the time element kicks in.

A wait and see period then ensues, if an other possibility suddenly arrises from some other source it to becomes a possibility and then becomes a major factor thrown into the decision mix and of they go on an entirely different direction, the end result never changes it 's the journey that important for us as shareholder of Crystallex to watch very closely.

In our case, Crystallex has a contract to mine LC and sell the physical gold to Venezuela.The objective is to mine LC Gold for Venezuela's central bank, as all Countries do use some portion of gold in their reserve to partially back up their currency.

Which doe's not necessarily mean in the Venezuelan mind set, that in the end as far as Crystallex is concerned they will be the company that finally dig it up and share in the profit for doing so.

From all logical examination pertaining to all the currently facts available the Permit should have been issued long ago, leaving one to ponder.............. what is really going to happen in the ensuing days or weeks.
