Promoter Members of the Committee of the Constituent Association of the Guayana region, expressed their satisfaction with the actions being done by the directive CVG Minerva, in favour of the miners, especially with the rescue of the five concessions Block " B "of the U.S. company Hecla.
Victor Centeno, a member of the committee, said that the management of Minerva action is a response to repeated complaints about violations of human rights and labour, which would have been recorded by the Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam) and the Ministry of Power to the People's Labor and Social Security (Minpptrass).
"We support the decision taken by the revolutionary government that led the president Chavez in power to revoke Hecla and stalling of negotiations between the Russian group and the aforementioned U.S. company since the riches are heritage of the Venezuelan State and must be administered by CVG Minerva, "said Rye.
Commented that once taken control of concessions, workers and Hecla CVG Minerva should take full control of operations at the mine, "as a ransom for the sovereignty and thus restore industrial peace."
