sasa, we discussed this in length OT a few months back (with no real conclusion)....but "peek oil" imo is a fallacy (or at least in the next 40 years, by then, who knows)...in the last two years they've found three of the largest fields ever and production has'nt started yet on any of them....alaska and the gulf are still pretty much untapped.....china is just starting to look domestically......it's all BS!

in the 70's gas reached near $3..

in the 90's it got down to .85..

now $4..

it's all manipulation and price fixing.....imo
