OK...let's speculate.
a. Chavez passes law banning mining in Imataca. In a couple of years another law is passed giving it all to the Russians.
b. Chavez is overthrown and things continue in accordance with the rule of law....after several years.
The possibilities are endless. I think our main hope at this point is that Canada goes to bat for us on the diplomatic front. It is so politically correct to hide behind "environmentalism"...it may be difficult for Canada to interfere with a sovereign nation's right to establish it's own environmental policy...especially if Hugo passes a new law that (at least temporarily) makes mining in the Imataca Forest illegal. That's not to say that the way we've been strung along as a company and as investors by Venezuela can be excused.
