I think you hit the nail on the head when you mention Bill's displeasure with the new management.  Although I respect Bill Cara it seemed from his comments that he was too close to Todd Bruce to be an objective observer regarding KRY.  I assume he was overly bullish on KRY because of his connection to Mr. Bruce.  When you get down to it Las Cristinas has been a soap opera for over 40 years.  There are a lot of fish in the sea and his patiance ran out.
