CENTRAL MANITOBA

Location: Rice Lake greenstone belt, 25km South East of Bissett, Manitoba

Project Area: 26 mining claims, 10.9 sq miles

Major Minerals: Gold

Holdings: 100% Interest

Exploration History

The Bissett Gold Camp has a history of exploration dating back to the 1920’s. The claims

cover the site of past producing mines with nine mine shafts and known gold

mineralization.

Central Manitoba mine produced 160,034 oz Gold at an average grade of 0.37 oz/t (1927 -

1938) at depths to 200m.

Rockland-Ogama mine produced 45,440 oz Gold at an average grade of 0.33 oz/t (1942 -

1943 and 1948 - 1951) at depths to 300m.

The Rice Lake greenstone belt and its equivalent in Ontario, the Red Lake greenstone

belt, are important Archean lode gold mining areas. There are more than 200 gold

occurrences in the Rice Lake greenstone belt, most of them associated with quartzveining

in Neoarchean rocks, including the expected phases of brittle deformation.

The Rice Lake/Bissett Gold Mine is located on this greenstone belt and operated

continuously from 1932 to 1968. It produced 1,462,055 oz Gold at an average grade of

0.26 oz/t. Since 1994, over $120 million has been spent on the Bissett Gold Mine and this

important gold deposit recommenced production in April 2006.

The primary goal of the most recent exploration programs on the Central Manitoba and

on the nearby Cryderman Properties was undertaken by Placer Dome under the terms of

an Option agreement with Mid-North Resources Limited.

2003 Exploration: Aeromagnetic Survey - Rock & Soil Geochemistry - Biochemistry.

Geological report for Placer Dome (Bruce E, Mitten - dated Dec 18, 2003) identifies

expenditures of $190,000.

2004 - 2,733m (8,880ft) Diamond Drill Program intersected moderate and high grade

Gold at the Rockland-Ogama mine at 260m to 460m depth, and at the Valley Vein at 20m

to 70m depth with grades up to 165 grams/t.

Geological report for Placer Dome (J. W. Patrick Lengyel) dated Sept 7, 2004 identifies

expenditures of $415,000.

Geological Report (NI 43-101) for Bison Gold (G. S. Carter - dated December 29, 2005) has

recommended expenditures of $575,000 stage 1 and a further $1,050,000 stage 2.

2006 - Systematic till sampling program of Cryderman & Central Manitoba claim groups.

Five additional target areas identified.

Geological Report (NI 43-101) for Bison Gold (David J. Busch - dated April 26, 2006)

identifies expenditures of $53,864 and has recommended diamond drilling to follow up

on till sampling program results.

2006 - 1,010m (3,300ft) Diamond Drill Program at the Central Manitoba mine intersected

a discovery in the Wentworth Vein with moderate and high grade Gold at 40m to 60m

depth with grades up to 17.3 grams/t.

Geological Report (NI 43-101) for Bison Gold (Watts, Griffis & McOuat - dated January

17, 2007).

Current Project:

Based on the positive results of the previous 2,700m drill program and the NI

43-101 Geological Report, Bison Gold began a soil till sampling program to further develop the

work previously undertaken by Placer Dome and to identify new targets for a future diamond

drill program in the summer of 2006. Five additional target areas were identified and classified.

The two top priority targets were selected for further ground geophysics. A subsequent diamond

drill program of 1,010m (3,300ft) at the

Central Manitoba mine

area was completed in the

summer of 2006. The cost for this program was approximately $200,000 and comprised nine

short holes (50m to 76m) on the Wentworth vein (which lies roughly midway between the former

producing Kitchener and Tene mines) and one deep hole (454m) under the Tene mine. The best

results came from holes CM-06-1, -7 and -8, which intersected core lengths, based on weighted

average analysis of;

CM-06-1 4.13 g/tonne over 3.83m (0.12 oz/ton)

CM-06-7 4.47 g/tonne over 2.01m (0.13 oz/ton)

CM-06-8 3.63 g/tonne over 4.14m (0.11 oz/ton)

Higher grades were intersected over narrower widths.

Hole No. Interval (m) Core Width (m) Au (g/tonne) Au (oz/ton)

CM-06-1 41.29 - 41.59 0.30 10.36 0.302

43.93 - 44.28 0.35 17.31 0.505

CM-06-7 40.85 - 41.48 0.63 9.00 0.262

CM-06-8 53.36 - 54.03 0.67 9.27 0.271

55.30 - 55.89 0.59 10.14 0.296

These results suggest the presence of a shallow west-plunging mineralized shoot that warrants

further drilling. In November 2007, Phase 1 drilling of 4,000m commenced. 1,000m of Phase 1

drilling was completed in 2007. The best results came from holes CM-07-1, -2 and -3, which

intersected core lengths, based on weighted average analysis.

CM-07-01 7.1g/t over 0.43m (0.24 oz/t)

CM-07-02 15.5g/t over 1.91m (0.54 oz/t)

CM-07-03 7.0g/t over 2.79m (0.24 oz/t)

During the first quarter of 2008, the company completed a 3242 meter drilling program on the

Central Manitoba property. The drill program comprised 16 holes which ranged individually

4

from 62 meters to 452 meters in drill depth. Of these holes, six were stepouts extending the

Wentworth vein along strike to the west, six were drilled between the Kitchener, Tene and Hope

shafts along the Central Manitoba zone, three were drilled under the old mine workings, and one

was a wildcat hole to the southeast along the prospective gabbro sill.

Results were received on four of the 16 drill holes, including CM

081, 2, 3 and 6. Hole CM08

1

was drilled directly under the old Hope mine workings, intersecting a strong shear zone, but only

minor gold values including 1.0 g/t Au over a drill width of

.30m. Hole CM08

2 was a wildcat

hole drilled several hundred meters southeast of the Hope mine along the prospective gabbro sill,

but no significant gold values were cut. Drill hole CM

08

3 was collared between the Tene and

Hope shafts, and intersected several strong shear zones, with minor gold values up to 1.1 g/t Au

over a drill width of 0.62m.

Drill hole CM

08

6 was drilled between the Wentworth vein, which has been the focus of most of

the company’s recent drilling, and the Tene mine. This drill hole, oriented at

50°/015° azimuth

across the prospective zone, intersected a mineralized, quartz

veined shear zone that returned 6.0

gAult/2.98m [truth width 2.41m] at 70.70

73

68, including 10.4 gAult/1.55m [true width 1.26m]

at 72.13

73

68m down hole. This new intersection, being called the Tene West vein, appears to be

a strike extension of the Tene mine veins.

Also during March, Bison Gold acquired by staking a 41 hectare claim lying immediately south of

the Central Manitoba zone dove claim. This claim will cover any down

dip extensions that may

arise from deeper drilling on the south

dipping Central Manitoba shear structure. The previous

holder of this claim was Icon Industries.

In the second quarter of 2008, significant gold intersections were returned in holes CM-08-4, -6, -

8, -9 and -10, from the 16 hole 2008 program. The remaining holes all intersected strong, locally

quartz-veined, shear structures, with anomalous gold values, but grades in these other holes

were generally less than 1gAu/t over mineable widths. The significant intersections are

summarized below.

Hole No. Interval (m) Core Width(m) True Width(m) Au (g/t)

CM-08-4 190.92-193.35 2.43 0.83 42.5

and 206.85-209.89 3.04 1.74 10.0

CM-08-6 70.70-73.68 2.98 2.41 6.0

including 72.13-73.68 1.55 1.26 10.4

CM-08-8 21.57-22.79 1.22 0.86 4.3

CM-08-9 29.08-30.37 1.29 0.83 3.7

CM-08-10 38.22-40.14 1.92 0.66 6.1

Estimated true widths for the above intersections were calculated from the core angles of veins

and schistosity as noted during core logging. The weighted average grades for drill hole CM-08-4

in the above table include assays which were in excess of 1 ozAu/ton (34.3gAu/t), and are uncut

for this calculation.

The most interesting results from this program were returned from hole CM-08-4, which was

oriented at -55°/015° azimuth, and designed to intersect the Tene mine structure at a depth of

roughly 200m at a point about 100m east of the ends of the deep exploration drifts from the 1930s.

This drill hole intersected 42.5gAu/t across a core width of 2.43m at 190.92-193.35m, and a second

intersection of 10.0gAu/t across 3.04m at 206.85-209.89. These intersections, termed the Tene East

zone, occur in sheared gabbro that is quartz-veined and mineralized with chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite

and local visible gold. It appears likely that this drill hole has intersected a southeast-plunging

5

extension of the Tene mine veins or possible new en-echelon vein within the Central Manitoba

structure.

Drill hole CM-08-6, which was reported in the company’s May 23/08 news release, intersected

6.0gAu/t across 2.98m at 70.70-73.68, including 10.4gAu/t over 1.55m at 72.13-73.68. This

intersection, called the Tene West vein, is situated between the Tene mine and Wentworth vein,

at a point roughly 100m west of the west end of the shallow stopes in the Tene mine. This drill

hole was oriented at -50°/015° azimuth and designed to test westerly extension of the mine

structure at roughly 50m depth.

Drill holes CM-08-8, -9 and -10 were all drilled from the same set-up, at -45°, -60° and -72°

respectively, toward an azimuth of 015°, to test the westerly extension of the Wentworth vein.

The Wentworth vein had previously been drilled in both the 2006 and 2007 programs. These

holes in the 2008 program were collared at a point 40m west of holes CM-07-1, -2 and -3, which

had intersected interesting gold values, including 15.5gAu/t over a core width of 1.91m. Drill

holes CM-08-8, -9 and -10 cut 4.3gAu/t across 1.22m, 3.7gAu/t over 1.29m, and 6.1gAu/t across a

core width of 1.92m respectively. Drill holes CM-08-11, -12 and -13 were drilled a further 80m

west of holes CM-08-8, -9 and -10, and intersected a strong, quartz-veined shear structure, but

gold values were low. From the 2006, 2007 and 2008 drilling, the mineralized zone along the

Wentworth vein appears to have a strike length of about 120m and is open at depth. Drilling to

date along this vein has been very shallow and has not tested below about 50m depth.

Bison Gold intends to undertake a followup drilling program on the Central Manitoba property

to test both the new Tene East and Tene West discoveries, further delineate the Wentworth vein

to depth, and drill under the old Ogama-Rockland gold mine, situated about 5km southwest of

the Central Manitoba mine. The Ogama-Rockland mine produced 45,440 ounces of gold at an

average grade of 0.33 oz/t in its 1948-51 production period, and these veins are believed to

extend well below the bottom of the mine workings at a depth of 200m.

Recommendations for the scope of the next phases of exploration on the property are

documented in the NI 43-101 Geological Report. For 2009, the following programs is budgeted:
