Central Manitoba and Cryderman
Location: Rice Lake greenstone belt, 25km South East of Bissett, Manitoba
Project Area: 26 mining claims, 12.2 sq miles

The Bissett Gold Camp has a history of exploration dating back to the 1930’s. The claims
cover the site of past producing mines with nine mine shafts and known gold mineralization.
•
Within these claim boundaries, the Central Manitoba mine produced 137,817 oz Gold at an
average grade of 0.36 oz/t and the Rockland-Ogama mine produced 45,445 oz Gold at an
average grade of 0.33 oz/t.

The Rice Lake/Bissett Gold Mine is located on this greenstone belt and operated continuously
from 1932 to 1968. It has produced 1,462,055 oz Gold at an average grade of 0.26 oz/t. and it
recommenced production in April 2006.

The primary goal of the most recent exploration programs on the Central Manitoba and
Cryderman Properties was undertaken by Placer Dome under the terms of an Option
agreement with Mid-North.
•
2003 exploration comprised; Aeromagnetic Survey - Rock & Soil Geochemistry -
Biochemistry.
•
Geological report for Placer Dome (B. E, Mitten - dated Dec 18, 2003) identifies expenditures
of $190,000.
•
The Diamond Drill Program in 2004 intersected grades 20 to 165 grams/t Gold.
•
The Geological report for Placer Dome (J. W. P. Lengyel) dated Sept 7, 2004 identifies
expenditures of $415,000.
•
On August 20, 2004 Placer Dome advised Mid-North of its decision not to continue with the
option, resulting in Mid-North regaining 100% ownership of the properties.
•
Geological Report (NI 43-101) for Mid-North (G. S. Carter - dated June 17, 2005) and for Bison
(G. S. Carter - dated December 29, 2005) has recommended expenditures of $575,000 stage (1)
and a further $1,050,000 stage (2).
