Definitely will look into that 'new rule' even though I spoke to someone at CRA (was transferred to the trading account 'guy' when the first person couldn't clarify) and was assured that I would only pay on the over contribution. I have in the past been misled by CRA representatives on other matters...they really should get their poop together and at least all have the same story. Thanks JJay
