Yep... the videos are very dated and rather dull but they are free and produced by professionals in the field vrs some of the hacks and pay sites out there.

My biggest problem with research is filtering out all of the GARBAGE and HYPE to get to companies that are actually worth digging deeper. Does anyone have a good, useful first 'filter' tool or method to weed out the noise so that time can be better spent on plausible candidates vrs reading BS?

Vette, you seem to be leaning into Gold and maybe silver with your blogging... I think that is pretty smart if that is the case. While I'm big on copper at the moment, I think gold and silver could be a little more robust in what looks like a serious economic downtrend and money printing starting. Any idea when Vette's next 'pick' is coming out? I know.... late summer LOL!

I'm also big on the non-renewable necessities like Potash and Phosphate for agriculture fertilizers in light of exponential growth of human populations, dwindling agricultural areas and the need for ever higher crop yields.

Please don't tell me about AAA (potash). The political risks in Ethiopia are changing dramatically while everyone seems to be worring about water.

I also stay away from technology and medical stuff since it is all too ephemeral and the investor is really at the mercy of the companies NR's and research. A pharmacist friend of mine (Ph.D, researcher) told me not to go near drug companies ever!

I have to admit that I had gotten lazy with my own post CUU strategy since the BFS got delayed (again) this spring. It's time to shake that off and get researching. September is when people get serious again after the less serious summertime.

Webgog's link is a good backgrounder on some materials in or to be in demand tho I'm not a fan of Mickey Fulp. http://www.goldgeologist.com/update/mm92.pdf

This tool is good for literally filtering out much of the noise and focusing one's research: http://miningalmanac.com/filters/
