Amen!  This has always been the case though. And a bidding war development plan targeting majors should have always been vigorously active, building long-term relationships WITH EVERY PROSPECTIVE BUYER. IMO, either EE (a bean counter) and ES (a geo techincian) don't acknowledge that this is their responsibility or that they are simply incapable of selling anything to anyone, i.e. the ''prospecting, promoting, relationship-building, selling and closing'' skills are simply not there.
