CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Why would they do that? Doesn't TECK value properties using ALL resources, like at QB2? Thomas-CUU
Remember this is a 43-101 report commissioned by CUU. There are strict restrictions on what you can include in these reports.
And, yes, Teck does perform their own valuation mathematics when speaking to their own projects. Teck includes all resources including all of the inferred. See their QB2 ROR notations.
40% of our resources are completely ignored in the 43-101 and may be considered costly waste rock. Despite this ''handicap'' in a comparison with QB2 our numbers are already way better than QB2's.
