" The Schaft Creek Joint Venture IS a deal with Copper Fox Metals Inc. to develop a mine."
Not according to the JV agreement, which states " The Parties hereby agree to associate and participate in a single purpose unincorporated joint venture (the "Joint Venture") for the purposes of further exploring the Property and, if deemed warranted, of developing, constructing and operating a Mine. " They have agreed to continue exploring, development is conditional and entirely controlled by Teck. Not only has Teck spent the last 5 years fully exercising that right they can continue to do so. If anything in the Liard agreement supercedes any of this then it's material and should be fully disclosed to shareholders. The current share price reflects the fact that there is no information released that supports that a deal is near or a development plan is imminent. We'd all like a bidding war but Newmont has closed a deal next door and appears to be a motivated buyer.
