I understand how mistakes in planning or results in work done can vary from predictions. I can tell you what my plan is for tomorrow but not the results or if anything will even get done. I can see the need for the disclaimer and the reasons why but when you fail most of the time in your estimates or predictions and end up sounding like the the guy in the black coat and top hat on the box outside the carnival tent, well, after all these years it gets a bit much.
Then you disclaim certain individual words, the ones that have been most used in your release...
One other huge mistake is that if I make a plan and give you a time line then fail, I'm going to tell you why, right away, and what the correction or future plan is going to be without you having to "call the office" and ask. Anybody here know what the future plan is?
After all these years I just want to get out of this thing with some of what I put into it without the stories or the "maybe nobody will notice if we don't say anything" attitude. It didn't work at BFS time and in my opinion, it's even worse now.
