Spitfire, I'm with you on this one. I would be happy too to get 600M on this one and move on. And at this point, and taking into consideration the environment we are in, I am now doubtful we will get anything close to 1.3B for our asset. Why do I say this? Well for the past 5yrs many Major mining companies have written down well over 17B in assets acquired during the good years when metal prices were high. They have gotten "hell" from their shareholders for overpaying for these assets.
Unfortunately for us, those days are now over when the management of these Majors will pay big bucks to acquire assets. They are now more cautious about spending big to buy assets especially when down cycles in metals and commodities can last an unusually long time as we have recently experienced with the last downturn. I hope that EE has taken this into consideration in his expectations of a buyout.
