Thanks explorationguy. It certainly looks like those images of that core were posted in July 2015. Presumably they were taken in 2012 though when the drilling was done.
I have to admit a slight problem with this LaCasse zone. Isn't it just part of the ES and Discovery zones? On the map in the photos library of this board it looks like it lies within the both zones. The photos on the copperfox website also say the cores are from the Discovery zone and there is a copper outcrop photo from the ES zone.
What I've wondered all along is whether this LaCasse zone "discovered" by Teck is anything new. I'm not a geologist, I'm just trying to understand the zone definitions. I'm happy if it truly is something new, and this has grabbed Teck's attention as they "discovered" it during their optimization work. If this adds value, wonderful. Just wonder what's differentiating it from the ES and Discovery zones that have been there all along.
