So "everything" CUU did is now thrown off to the side?

No, most of it is probably still good, but the parts that relate to the tailings have to be re-done. Plus they have to do a comprehensive report on all the tailings options, which they likely would not have done. For instance, stacked tailings that are dry (I can't remember the technical name) would not be used in a mine over 2,000 tpd, but they have to go through the process of doing the report anyway.

The EA department has also reserved the right to add more conditions, so who knows what they might come up with over the course of the year.

On the other hand, I've been of the opinion that Teck might scrap this application and submit a new one that would come under the new fast-track regulations so, in a way, it might not change things too much except for the extra report work.( That's just my opinion that they might try cancelling this application and starting again, it's not anything like fact.)
