CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I wouldn't surprised if a production decision is announced first. But my gut feeling still tells me Teck will want to buy us out asap if they have any plans of getting schaft creek into commercialization.
Teck since JV.
-Does not have a sub page for Schaft Creek when you see Galore Creek is on there.
-Does not mention Schaft Creek in any details on their presentation.
-Only mention of Schaft Creek is in quarterly news release and it's just one or two sentences.
-I don't think they even announced the cost of the engineering studies whereas CUU did mention it in their NR.
So far Teck has be hush hush a lot in regards to CUU. It's very hard to tell to see what hand Teck is playing.
