CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Prospekt, I doubt Teck would reveal their intentions of what they would do first. This is probably her opinion or guess of what Teck would do.
Well, yes, it was her opinion. I had been assuming Teck would not make the production announcement first and that's why it surprised me. I just think if Cathy believes the production decision will come first then maybe it is the standard expectation throughout the office, and they are closer to Teck-think than we are.
I'm adjusting my expectations somewhat to accept this might happen. Then I reviewed some comparables and thought there might be room for a production decision without our stock price moving up too far. Sadly.
The optimization results will be released to the JV management committee, and through that to us. It is too material to be held back, unless Teck does make a spot offer beforehand or at that moment. I'm sure we would all love this, but it isn't a given.
