Here's where I think we're looking at things differently.
I think we both agree that they may have tried and wanted to do the best thing for us/themselves (like you said, management and shareholders interests are aligned). Where we may disagree on is if they did do the best things and take us down the best possible route and if they could have done better.
I'm not saying they weren't well intentioned or they didn't try, but their execution at the end of the day was lacking and some of their mistakes were big enough to put us in at the price range we are today (in combination with the macro factors - but those macro factors effect us because we coudln't finish in a timely manner).
