Why would teck ever create such and agreement?

They didn't create it, they bought it and optioned it...I believe Teck was in CUU's shoes once..

See page 2, 2nd paragraph...notice the words ''bringing to production''

Now we can see that official agreement because it has to do with Hecla and Liard...but upon Feasibility notice CUU will get the Liard interest (indirect interest) from Teck....

1978 then Hecla sold it's interest to Teck and Teck, and CUU acquired an option in 2002..
