I think the emphasis on Newmont is unfounded. Matt Bender has worked on numerous projects related feasibility. I cannot find any evidence that shows Newmont is involved. Matt seems to be only selected to work for us since he was onboard with the PFS. So he is familiar with Schaft Creek.
He worked for Samuel Engineering previously, which judging from their MickeyMouse website isn't as focused on mining as Merit Consulting is. Matt is just hired by us as OUR independant consultant going forward. Maybe checking Merit's work, who presumably is hired by Teck.
IMHO, only Teck is working with CUU right now. It makes no sense for them having another nose poking around assumed negotiations. Let these "independant" consultants oversee the work, sign off on the final draft of the BFS then release to the public with a NR.
