No to belabor the complicated relationships here, but isn't Liard a subsidiary of Teck?? Don't quite understand that, but that's what Bloomberg says.

Company Overview

Liard Copper Mines Limited is based in Canada. The company operates as a subsidiary of Teck Resources Limited.

Dec. 12, 2011 news release: Liard Copper Mines Limited Appoints Elmer B. Stewart to the Board of Directors

Dec 12 11

Teck Resources Limited invited Elmer B. Stewart to join the board of directors of Liard Copper Mines Limited. The annual general meeting of shareholders of Liard was held on November 30, 2011 at which time, Mr. Stewart's appointment as director was approved by the shareholders of Liard.

Anyhoo, not too worried, I'm sure everyone will play nice in the end when a billion or billions are on the table for buyout, and even more for Teck's 30 year outlook ... not budging with my CUU shares and I must see the darn thing to the end, despite the many delays. And I keep finding a way to buy a little more. I think we're rounding third base here and eyeing up home plate ...
